The house is set in it’s own grounds (approx 0.33 of an acre) situated just off a narrow dry stone walled lane, within the historic UZES town boundary.

Uzes is a medieval town with wonderful buildings (including castle) and a traditional market within the town square (Wed’s & Sat’s)

Uzes is a small town, full of rustic charm, yet also not without it’s culture. The Summer months are full of festivals, fetes and evening concerts and theatre performances (dates vary) as well as wine festivals and the local market.

Uzes Market
The market fills the town on a Saturday, with traditional stalls, full of local foods wines clothing and other goods. On Wednesday there is a smaller market for food & wine only. Fine Buildings & architecture are everywhere in Uzes, vaulted ceilings & wonderful stone buildings are common, One of the main feature is the Place de Herbs, in the centre of the town, also a central focus for the market.
